1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, was it planned or did it just come out like that? 

We were really lucky because Jonyx came out with ‘Novacrow’ and it stuck instantly. We should probably invent a more exciting origin story, where the word was inscribed on one of our butt-cheeks at birth or something. 

2.Why did you want to play this genre? 

To be honest, one of my favourite things about Novacrow is that we don’t really try to cater to one genre. I’ve had plenty of projects before this where I would deliberately restrict myself to fit a certain sound, but with Novacrow, anything goes. I never feel like something is ‘too heavy’ or ‘not heavy enough’..."
