Federico had a chat with Black Phoenix Rising about influences, the recording process and our new EP.

"When were Novacrow formed and how did you all get together as a band ?

Kitty and Jonyx first had the idea for Novacrow a few years back. Around 2013 I met them through a mutual friend, then Torben joined when we were looking for a drummer. 

How did you decide on the band name and has it got a special meaning behind it ? 

We'd like to say that the band name came to us through the cosmic forces of the universe on a silver platter, but really it was just a cool name Jonyx came up with back when he and Kitty first formed the band. We should probably start lying and say it was the former. 

How would you best describe the Novacrow sound ? 

Imagine the best sex you have ever had, coupled with…actually no, just the best sex you've ever had..."
